Today I was trying to tweet a url and got an error message from twitter (pic related) saying they were overloaded.
This is only a day after the Sunday Biz Post ran a great article about ‘cloud computing‘, well, for what it’s worth I think our ambitions are ahead of the curve versus what we can and can’t actually do. Gmail went down last week, I got about 12 phone calls within 10 minutes that time (we use gmail as an enterprise solution). And today twitter is overloaded.
Qwitter, designed by contrast.ie here in Ireland can’t run their programme anymore because of the load it was placing on twitter servers, so is it wrong to think that our ambitions and our reality are slightly decouple?
