Apart from being in great shape for a 90 year old, this man has a trait that I believe may die off with the people of his generation, that trait is ‘true grit’, the indefeatable spirit which was the hallmark Americans. After losing everything he has gone back to work and not feeling sorry for himself, driven, because he has a ‘job to do’. I really hope things work out for this man, he represents all that is admirable in the people of America, it is this kind of ‘can do’ attitude that will lift the US out of its current situation, unfortunately men like Ian Thiermann are in short supply.
